Coconut and cocoa truffles are simple sweets perfect to prepare if you have little time. The strong taste of bitter cocoa goes very well with the sweetness of coconut. You can replace Greek yogurt with ricotta cheese and sprinkle the truffles with toasted hazelnuts or almonds.
This recipe is gluten free.
INGREDIENTS (for 55-60 truffles)
- 200g Greek yogurt
- 100g sugar
- 100g grated coconut
- 40g bitter cocoa
HOW TO MAKE COCONUT AND COCOA TRUFFLES
Pour the yogurt, sugar and stir in a bowl.
Add the sifted cocoa and 80g of grated coconut, mix together.
Make little balls (like hazelnut size) and sprinkle them with the remaining coconut. Put the balls in the fridge for at least a couple of hours.
